Medical clinic renovations move around clinics, offices Published Oct. 17, 2007 By Special to the Drop Zone Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. -- As renovation continues on the 314th Medical Group multi-million dollar dental clinic, the group facility will undergo another phase to further the clinic concept, as well as modernize laboratory and radiology service areas, announced base officials recently. The $3.2 million project is currently underway and is scheduled to be complete in December 2008. Another change to the facility of interest is the relocation of the Tricare Service Center, currently located in the facility, which will move to Bldg. 1240 (the same building as the base altitude chamber and next to the 314th Airlift Wing Headquarters building). "We expect no impact to our patients as we will continue to provide ... services in the clinic, (they'll) just in different locations within the facility," said Lt. Col. John Powers III, 314th Medical Support Squadron commander. (Courtesy of the 314th Medical Group)
