School volunteers win county school district award Published April 26, 2010 LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. -- Arnold Drive Elementary School volunteers were recognized during a People Assisting Local Schools Breakfast April 22 for working more than 10,000 volunteer hours. The school was presented the Harold Measel Award for having the most volunteer hours in the Pulaski County Special School District. More than 300 hours at Arnold Drive Elementary were logged by: Karlee Frisby; Meredith Kitchen; Lisa Knickerbocker; Beth Mahoney; Ronnie Pridgeon; and Rhoda Walker. More than 100 hours were logged by: Crysten Hitchcock and Erin Romine. More than 50 hours were logged by: Roy Pridgeon and Martha Whatley. Business partners recognized for supporting Arnold Drive Elementary School are: military personnel from the 19th Mission Support Group; Ashland Corporation; First Arkansas Bank and Trust; Arkansas Federal Credit Union; Cici's Pizza; Dr. James Cooper, DDS; Wilkinson Realty Company; Gene Bowman Shelter Insurance; Automotive Associates; military personnel from the Airmen and Family Readiness Flight; military personnel from the Family Advocacy; and personnel from the youth center.
