Twelve Little Rock Airmen punished under Article 15 in May Published June 16, 2010 LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. -- During the month of May, 12 Airmen were punished under Article 15, Uniform Code of Military Justice. An airman first class from the 714th Training Squadron provided alcohol to an airman first class who was under the legal drinking age of 21 and failed to go at the time prescribed to their appointed place of duty. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman and suspended forfeiture of $500 pay. An airman first class from the 19th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron possessed and drank alcohol under the legal drinking age of 21. The member received a suspended reduction to the rank of airman, forfeiture of $200 pay and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 19th Component Maintenance Squadron failed to wear a safety harness while working on an aircraft and fell asleep on duty. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman basic and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 19th CMS operated a vehicle with a suspended license. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 19th Force Support Squadron used marijuana. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman basic, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. An airman first class from the 314th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron drank alcohol while under the legal drinking age of 21. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. A senior airman from the 19th Communications Squadron, violated a lawful general order by visiting the sleeping quarters of a member of the opposite sex and signed a false official statement while in the warzone. The member received a suspended reduction to airman first class and forfeiture of $350 pay per month for two months. A senior airman from the 19th Civil Engineering Squadron conspired with their spouse to commit larceny of approximately $14,500 against insurance companies and made a false official statement to security forces about a larceny at their home. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman with reduction below the rank of airman first class suspended. A senior airman from the 314th AMXS provided alcohol to a person under the legal drinking age of 21. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman first class, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand. A senior airman from the 314th AMXS provided alcohol to a person under the legal drinking age of 21 and punched an airman first class on the face and head. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman with reduction below the rank of airman first class suspended, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand. A senior airman from the 714th TRS failed to go at the time prescribed to their appointed place of duty on three separate occasions. They also violated curfew twice; wore civilian clothes in phase one; failed to ride the bus to and from school; failed to carry their Air Education and Training Command Form 341, military ID, room key and emergency contact card as required; and failed to fill out the log book. Lastly, they made a false official statement to two NCOs. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman first class and forfeiture of $300 pay. A senior airman from the 714th TRS drank alcohol in the dorms and broke phase one by leaving Little Rock Air Force Base after curfew in civilian clothes. They also provided alcohol to a person under the age of 21. Lastly, they failed to go at the time prescribed to their appointed place of duty on two separate occasions.
