Col. Charles K. Hyde, 314th Airlift Wing commander, and representatives from Lockheed-Martin presented a copy of a 360-degree C-130 Training Program to the Jacksonville Museum of Military History during a ceremony at the museum July 15.

The digital picture display provides patrons a virtual tour of the interior of a C-130 aircraft. The interactive display is one example of the many modern and relevant training tools 314th Airlift Wing C-130 students use to learn to fly the aircraft. The museum will show the virtual tour on its giant screen televisions.

The display is another example of the rich military history of the Jacksonville community.

"I think visitors will take away a greater appreciation of the C-130 [mission]," said DannaKay Duggar, the museum's director. "We're looking to educate the public of the importance and versatility of the C-130."
