Children head back to school
Staff Sgt. Christopher Whitten, 53rd Airlift Squadron flight engineer, and wife, Mechelle, walk daughters, Avalyn (left), 4; and Kaylee (right), 6; to school Aug. 19 with the help of a crossing guard. Crossing guards are posted at Arnold Drive Elementary School from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and from 3:50 to 4:15 p.m. to ensure the safety of the children crossing the streets.
