21 Little Rock Airmen punished under Article 15

LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. --  During the month of August and September, 21 Airmen were punished under Article 15, Uniform Code of Military Justice.

An airman from the 53rd Airlift Squadron was AWOL for six days and made unauthorized purchases with his government travel card. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman basic and a reprimand.

An airman from the 714th Training Squadron consumed alcohol while under the legal drinking age and disobeyed a lawful order by possessing chewing tobacco in the dorms. The member received a suspended reduction to the rank of airman basic and 15 days extra duty.

An airman from the 19th Civil Engineer Squadron consumed alcohol within eight hours prior to reporting to work, causing them to be to incapacitated to perform their duties and failing to go to work. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman basic, suspended forfeiture of $723 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 19th Component Maintenance Squadron failed to go at the time prescribed to both physical fitness training and work. The member received a vacation of a previously suspended punishment; reduction to the rank of airman, restriction to the base for 14 days and 14 days extra duty.

An airman first class from the 19th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron fell asleep while on duty. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman, restriction to the base for 14 days, 14 days extra duty and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 19th CMS absented themselves from their place of duty. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman.

An airman first class from the 19th Equipment Maintenance Squadron possessed an explosive device in their dorm room. The member received a suspended reduction to the rank of airman and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 19th EMS consumed alcohol while under the legal drinking age. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman, suspended forfeitures of $811 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 19th EMS made a false official statement to a commissioned officer and senior NCO. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman, suspended forfeiture of $811 pay per month for two months and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 19th EMS went without authority from their place of duty and failed to go to work. This member also dishonorably failed to pay debts. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman basic with reduction below airman suspended, forfeiture of $723 pay per month for two months with one month suspended and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 314th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron was drunk and disorderly, pushed an NCO to the ground and resisted apprehension by a 19th Security Forces Squadron member. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman basic, forfeiture of $723 pay, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

An airman first class from the 19th SFS made a false official statement to an NCO, with intent to deceive. The member received a vacation of a previously suspended reduction to the rank of airman.

A senior airman from the 19th Logistics Readiness Squadron used marijuana. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman first class, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 314th AMXS didn't participate in their Fitness Improvement Plan, disobeying a lawful order issued to them by a commissioned officer. The member received forfeiture of $250 pay and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 714th TRS possessed chewing tobacco in the dorms. The member received 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 19th CES consumed alcohol within eight hours prior to reporting to work, causing them to be incapacitated for the performance of their duties. The member received a suspended reduction to the rank of airman first class, 45 days extra duty and reprimand.

A senior airman from the 19th EMS possessed an explosive device in their dorm room. The member received a suspended reduction to the rank of airman first class, 30 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 19th Force Support Squadron grabbed and threw another person to the ground and restrained them around their neck using their arm and body. The member received a suspended reduction to the rank of airman first class, forfeiture of $500 pay per month for two months, 45 days extra duty with 30 days suspended and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 314th AMXS failed to go to work. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman first class, forfeiture of $150 pay, 15 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A senior airman from the 314th AMXS stole non-military property valued at $500 or less and military property valued at $500 or more. The member received a reduction to the rank of airman basic, with reduction below airman first class suspended, forfeiture of $500 pay per month for two months, 45 days extra duty and a reprimand.

A staff sergeant from the 19th EMS signed an official record known to be false with intent to deceive. The member received a suspended reduction to the rank of senior airman, forfeiture of $1,146 pay per month for two months with forfeitures in excess of $300 pay per month for one month suspended and a reprimand.
