TORNADO HITS LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE Published April 25, 2011 19th Airlift Wing Public Affairs LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. -- A tornado struck Little Rock Air Force Base at approximately 8 p.m. Monday, April 25. Initial reports indicate at least four homes in base housing have been damaged. Crews are assessing the base's aircraft at this time. Base housing residents are encouraged to stay indoors due to downed power lines in base housing. Base residents who are experiencing emergencies should call 987-6123 so base officials can assist.
