Turley has been the lead patrolman for multiple domestic response and high risk incidents while on the night shift. He responded to a medical emergency of an individual having chest pains by staying with individual and providing assistance until medical personnel could arrive on the scene.

Additionally, he responded to an individual attempting to gain access to installation through a closed gate. He successfully detained the individual until Jacksonville Police Department could escort the suspect away from the installation.
