19th Airlift Wing priority portrayed and why?
As the section chief of Patient Administration for the 19th Healthcare Operations Squadron, Freeman builds resilient warriors and strong families through her exceptional work and commitment.
Recently, she worked after hours for three days on an urgent aeromedical evacuation/patient travel case, and successfully managed to get a seriously ill TLR member from Yokota AB back to the states for treatment.
Additionally, Freeman is a 19th Medical Group Wing Inspection Team member. She utilizes her expertise to identify areas of improvement and recommends courses of action to the 19 MDG Medical Control Center in addition to the patient travel program, Line of Duties, and documentation of specialty care in the Genesis electronic health records.
She hand-crafted multiple standard operating procedures and trained 13 staff members across five clinics, restoring the Group’s compliance and avoiding potential patient safety events.
