LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. -- The Arnold Gate at Little Rock Air Force Base will reopen to traffic beginning Dec. 17, 2021, and will now be open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week, unless otherwise closed for holidays.
Commonly referred to as the “Back Gate,” the Arnold Gate is located at 399 Arnold Drive and is accessed from Arkansas Highway 107.
Please be advised that the Arnold Gate will be closed for the following upcoming federal holidays and Air Mobility Command family days.
Christmas Holiday, Friday, Dec. 24 (Observed)
Closes at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 23, and will reopen at 6 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 26.
AMC Family Day, Monday, Dec. 27
Closes at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, and will reopen at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 28.
New Year’s Day, Friday, Dec. 31 (Observed)
Closes at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, and will reopen at 6 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 2.
AMC Family Day, Monday, Jan. 3
Closes at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, and will reopen at 6 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4.
The Harris Road Gate, also known as the “School Gate,” will continue to serve as an alternate entrance and return to normal operations beginning Dec 17. Harris Road Gate will be open to both inbound and outbound traffic from 6:30 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. and from 2:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, as long as Jacksonville North Pulaski School District classes are in session.
The Harris Road Gate is located at 2905 Harris Road, with the nearest major intersection being at General Samuels Road.
The Vandenberg Gate, or the “Main Gate,” located at 1500 Vandenberg Blvd, will remain open 24/7.
