Kurfurst has a critical role during travel on missions in maintaining the aircraft’s flight worthiness and assisting aircrew with in-flight and ground operations. He is leading the charge to full spectrum readiness by participating in the Mission Capable Airmen Exercise where he integrates with security forces, civil engineers, munitions and other base agencies to forge the hybrid Mobility Airmen concept.
