LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. -- Col. Shane Haughian, 19th Operations Group commander, piloted his final C-130J Super Hercules sortie as commander of the group, July 8.

Haughian will officially relinquish command of the group and retire after 26 years of military service on July 10.

Equipped with the C-130J Super Hercules, the group provides part of Air Mobility Command's global reach capability. Tasking requirements range from supplying humanitarian airlift relief to victims of disasters, to airdropping supplies and troops into the heart of contingency operations in hostile areas.
