Unit: 19th Civil Engineer Squadron Explosive Ordinance Disposal Flight

Duty title: NCO in charge of explosive ordinance disposal equipment

Hometown: Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Time in service: 14 years total, nine years in the United States Marine Corps and five years in the Air Force

Time at Little Rock: Three Years

Goals: Make technical sergeant and retire as a master sergeant or higher.

Hobbies: Playing video games and spending time with his kids.

How does the individual portray the core value? Nielsen is a highly skilled EOD team leader who can always be counted on as the epitomy of a wingman. He directly supervises, trains and mentors three Airmen, and is an avid AADD supporter/volunteer. Nielsen just recently returned from a 30-day deployment in support of Hurricane Michael recovery efforts at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida.
