A C-5 Galaxy III assigned to Travis Air Force Base, Calif., landed at the Clinton National Airport, July 30, 2017, enroute to Mobility Guardian, a joint-service exercise at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Team Little Rock Airmen began sharpening their skills while enhancing their readiness before stepping into the exercise’s battlespace in Washington state. A team of 19th Logistics Readiness Squadron Airmen worked with the C-5 Galaxy III aircrew loading essential assets that will ensure interoperability with joint and allied partners. This event creates a unique forum to share tactics, techniques and processes essential to maintaining readiness and sustainment in coalition campaigns around the globe.

“The C-5 operations out of Clinton National Airport has been an exceptional collaboration with our civilian teammates at TacAir, our AMC brethren from Travis, and all entities represented in the Logistics Readiness Squadron," said Maj. Faith Posey, 19th LRS commander. "I could not be more proud of this team's whatever it takes commitment to service and excellence.”

Approximately 3,000 service members and 90 aircraft will test their airlift, air refueling, aeromedical evacuation and mobility support operations during Mobility Guardian. Airmen from the 19th Maintenance Group will be working 24/7 to ensure an estimated 100 sorties a day are a success.
