Retreat and Taps: Customs and Courtesies

This graphic, created by the 19th Airlift Wing Public Affairs Office, informs members on the proper customs and courtesies for Retreat and Taps. Retreat signals the end of the traditional duty day and is followed by the National Anthem. Taps is a solemn bugle call played at funerals, memorial services, and sometimes at the end of the day.
