19th AF command chief takes flight with 314th AW
Chief Master Sgt. Justin Apticar, 19th Air Force command chief (middle), Tech. Sgt. William Knowles, 19th Air Force command chief executive assistant (right), and Master Sgt. Renford Forbes, 62nd Airlift Squadron loadmaster superintendent (left), sit in the back of a C-130J Super Hercules aircraft during Apticar’s visit with the 314th Airlift Wing at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, Feb. 7, 2024. Shortly after taking off, Apticar was able to experience first-hand a cargo airdrop, which demonstrated the 314th AW's operational capabilities and the unique role these aircraft play in fulfilling the Air Force's mission.
