Combat Airlifter of the Week: Staff Sgt. Dylan Nowell
Staff Sgt. Dylan Nowell, 34th Combat Training Squadron NCO in charge of the exercise planning flight, is recognize as the Combat Airlifter of the Week, Dec. 6, 2021. Nowell recently identified a major breakdown in airdrop loading operations during Green Flag Little Rock exercises that had been a cause for significant aircraft launch delays. His solution to relocate a cargo loading dock eliminated the double-handling of airdrop loads enabling Army and Air Force personnel to work together to achieve on-time departures and successful airdrops supporting Air Mobility Command’s only joint-accredited training venue.
