NDI lab never tires of metal fatigue
Airman 1st Class Ashton Surber, 19th Equipment Maintenance Squadron non-destructive inspection journeyman, sprays a magnetic particle solution on a tow fitting crossbar June 4 while magnetizing it during a magnetic particle inspection. A magnetic particle solution is used to fill any cracks in a suspected damaged piece of equipment which will then glow under a black light to determine whether it’s damaged.
