NDI lab never tires of metal fatigue
Airman 1st Class John Stevens, 19th Equipment Maintenance Squadron non-destructive inspection journeyman, put a tow fitting arm in a dryer June 4 during a fluorescent liquid penetrant inspection. The tow fitting arm is placed in the dryer to dry off all remaining fluids that are present leaving only the fluorescent liquid penetrant that is absorbed into the crack remaining.
