19th CES Airman step-promoted to technical sergeant

Tech. Sgt. Jonathan Castleberry, 19th Civil Engineer Squadron, has his new stripes “tacked” on Aug. 12 by Senior Master Sgt. Randall Harms, 19th CES heavy repair superintendent. Sergeant Castleberry was Stripes for Exceptional Performers promoted by the 19th Airlift Wing commander and was recognized in front of his peers as an outstanding Airman and asset to the Air Force. The STEP promotion program is used to recognize and promote outstanding Airmen. They can be STEP promoted to the grades of staff sergeant through master sergeant.
