Tech. Sgt. Carla Metts, a 19th Medical Group life support program manager, demonstrates the proper intubation techniques on a training mannequin June 13, 2011, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. The Bloomsdale, Mo., native developed the self-aid buddy care assessment portion for all base exercises and is sharing the information with the Illinois Air National Guard to improve their method to systematically assess their Airmen in preparation for the upcoming operation readiness inspection.
