CMSgt Ben Davis is the Command Chief for the 314th Airlift Wing, Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. He serves as the principal advisor to the Wing Commander on all matters relating to the readiness, welfare, training, professional development and effective utilization for more than 450 assigned Airmen and 1,200 aircrew students annually. The 314th AW is responsible for training all Department of War C-130 aircrew members as well as those from the United States Coast Guard and 47 international partners.
Chief Davis enlisted into the Air Force in 2003 to begin his career as a KC-135 Boom Operator. Throughout his career, he has served in multiple capacities at the Squadron, Group, Wing and MAJCOM Staff levels to include several Senior Enlisted Leader positions. Prior to his current position, he served as the Senior Enlisted Leader for Pacific Air Forces Operations Directorate.
Of note, during his time in the USAF Weapons School (USAFWS), Chief Davis graduated as initial cadre for the KC-135 Boom Operator Advanced Instructor Course during the validation class in 2019. Additionally, he pushed 11 Weapons Instructor Courses to graduation, creating 51 new Weapons Officers and Advanced Instructors. Furthermore, he has deployed to Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kyrgyzstan and Diego Garcia in support of Operations NOBLE EAGLE, ENDURING FREEDOM, IRAQI FREEDOM, FREEDOM’s SENTINEL, INHERENT RESOLVE and ALLIES REFUGE.
