Stay cool in the base pool

LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. --  The base pool is finally open after months of renovations. A new liner was installed in both the kiddie pool and the main pool along with new pumps. The pool is open Tuesday through Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. Free lap swimming is also available Wednesday and Friday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. The cost of a day-pass is $3. A season pass for single Airmen is $75 and for families it is $125. There is a water slide and also a diving board. Lifeguards are on duty to ensure that Team Little Rock members have a safe place to enjoy the summer days. New lockers were also installed to keep belongings safe and dry while members enjoy the pool or soak up the sun in a lounge chair.
