LRAFB identifies Airman found dead at off-base residence

LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. -- An active-duty Airman from Little Rock Air Force Base was pronounced dead at his off-base residence in North Little Rock, Aug. 3, 2021.

Following the next-of-kin notification, the Airman has been identified as Senior Airman Clayton A. Love Jr., 23, a fuels system journeyman from the 19th Maintenance Squadron.

“We are deeply saddened by the recent loss of life within our Black Knight family,” said Col. Angela Ochoa, 19th Airlift Wing commander. “Our hearts are heavy and our thoughts and prayers are with Clayton’s family and friends for this irreplaceable loss. Our focus now is to take care of Clayton’s family, friends, and fellow Airmen, ensuring those affected by his loss are supported during this difficult time.”

The cause of death is currently under investigation.
