Santiago puts the Air Force’s needs before her own on a daily basis, evidenced by her overseeing the daily operations of the Mental Health Clinic, delivering 9,900 appointments worth $510,000 to patients from three military branches.  She makes sure patients are seen as quickly as possible while mentoring two personnel to be invaluable future Air Force leaders. Santiago also has filled in as the interim flight chief for 15 weeks, directing flight operations of 24 staff members and leading mission accomplishment of three elements, all of which were key to the wings lowest DUI rate in more than 10 years.
