Operation Homefront delivers again at The Rock

LITTLE ROCK AIR FORCE BASE, Ark. --  Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization, successfully hosted its 2nd annual event "Holiday Toy Distribution" to E-6 and below Dec. 17, 2013, at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark. Operation Homefront collected approximately 6,000 toys, enough to support 300 children and handed them out at the Thomas Community and Activity Center.

During this holiday season, Operation Homefront commonly receives request from the community to accept, transport and distribute donated items to deployed military members.

There are several different sources designed to support this cause. Visit the "Our Military" website at http://www.ourmilitary.mil/care-packages which includes a listing of home-front groups that provide a variety of support for military members and their families. This includes sending care packages for the holidays.
