19th Airlift Wing priority portrayed and why?

Ms. Leilani Weathersby was the most effective installation appointed Special Emphasis Program Manager. With less than 25 days to plan, she selflessly acted on behalf of the 19 Airlift Wing commander by providing pivotal assistance to the command team, and Chief Civilian Personnel Officer in the planning and implementation phases of two DoD mandated Special Observations to include; Dr. Martin Luther King’s Federal Observance and Black History Month. Both events bridged the gap between both the military and civilians communities off base and were lauded by both local elected officials and the 19th AW commander. Ms. Weathersby was the only SEPM who volunteered to provide direct support for two Special Observances this year. By doing so, she paved the way for other newly appointed SEPMS to follow.
