Women's History Month
Women like Maj. Gen. Marcelite J. Harris, the first African American female general in the Air Force, Esther Blake, the first woman in the Air Force, and Chief Master Sgt. Margarita Overton, the first female command chief for the 19th Airlift Wing at Little Rock Air Force Base, Ark., paved the way and opened doors of opportunity for all women to serve in the military. During Women's History Month, tribute is paid to these and all women who've made and is still making a difference in this country. (photo illustration)
