Civic Outreach
Purpose of Civic Outreach -- Active civic outreach programs enable commanders to enhance airman morale and readiness, and public trust and support. Air Force professionals involved in the communities where they live become front-line ambassadors for the Air Force. Through active programs, the Air Force demonstrates it is a community partner and a responsible steward of resources.

Need or want to be a volunteer?
Little Rock AFB has a long history of helping out the local communities. Whether it be by volunteering to build a house or working at a fundraiser, the men and women of the base have been there. For those interested, there are several volunteer opportunities off base.
However, keep in mind the base no longer assigns an overall project officer for volunteer opportunities. So, if you are interested in these opportunities, or are looking for base Airmen to support your program/function, please check out www.volunteermatch.org. |

The 19th Airlift Wing Public Affairs office arranges all civic outreach and community relations events that link base personnel to community events or interactions. Although Little Rock AFB personnel would like to participate in every civic outreach opportunity, please remember we must remain mission focused so we are not able to support every request we receive.
Due to current mission requirements and current force restructuring plans, our office is no longer able to provide Junior ROTC detachments individual tours. However, all JROTC detachments are invited to participate in our annual Airpower Arkansas JROTC Expo; tentatively scheduled on an annual basis for the last Friday of April.
To request support for your event or set up a tour, fill out the form provided at the link below. Please allow at least 45 days prior to the event for coordination.
