Hometown: Platteville, CO

Time in service: 3 years and 4 months

Time at Little Rock: 2 years and 5 months

Goals: Complete CCAF, sew on Staff Sergeant, and obtain more real estate. 

Hobbies: Working on his car and doing construction work around the house.

19th Airlift Wing priority portrayed and why?

As the lead trainer in the Aircrew Flight Equipment Chemical Defense Section, Perez has trained eight technicians on approximately 70 tasks.

Additionally, he is the key technician overseeing the transition from the Aircrew Eye/Respiratory Mask to the new Joint Service Aircrew Mask (JSAM) and has crafted a training video and fitting process used to support 383 aircrews.

Finally, SrA Perez was instrumental in converting the traditional Night Vision Goggles to the White Phosphor Night Vision Goggle. Thus far, he has trained 18 technicians, identified and replaced 22 faulty assets and modified 74 assets enhancing visibility and lethality of aircrew members stationed at Little Rock AFB.
