COLONEL CHRISTOPHER L. LAMBERT

Colonel Chris Lambert is the Vice Commander, 19th Airlift Wing, Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas. The 19th Airlift Wing is responsible for providing worldwide deployable C-130 aircraft, aircrews, support personnel and equipment for Air Mobility Command and Air Expeditionary Force taskings while providing for the health and welfare of more than 12,000 personnel and families at Little Rock AFB. The 19th Airlift Wing, in concert with the 314th Airlift Wing, 189th Airlift Wing, 913th Airlift Group and 29th Weapons Squadron, is the nation's "Center of Excellence" for C-130 tactical airlift.

Colonel Lambert was commissioned in 1995 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. He completed Undergraduate Navigator Training at Randolph AFB, Texas with subsequent flying assignments in Air Mobility Command, Air Education and Training Command, and Pacific Air Forces. He is a graduate of the Air Force’s Institute of Technology, Advanced Studies of Air Mobility course and is a Joint Qualified Officer with staff experience on the Headquarters United States Pacific Command J5 staff. Colonel Lambert has held numerous positions at the squadron, group, wing, and joint levels with previous command experience in the 573d Global Support Squadron, 621st Contingency Response Wing. He has taken part in a wide variety of global mobility missions and deployments including Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, Iraqi Freedom, New Dawn, and many other contingency and humanitarian operations. Prior to his current assignment, he was the Chief of Resources, Requirements, and Readiness Division, Operations Directorate, Air Mobility Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Colonel Lambert is a master navigator with more than 3,000 hours in the C-130E/H.
